    Clear Before We Begin

    Kitchen & Appliance Care

Understand your scope and what to expect before requesting additional detailing.

Routine stovetop and exterior surface cleaning follows your selected service and written scope. Oven and refrigerator interiors, along with extra attention to heavy buildup, are assessed separately unless already included.

Share the number and location of kitchens and appliances you want serviced, with photos of each. A double oven counts as two cavities when both need care.

Permanent stains, discoloration, wear and existing damage may remain. Complete removal, a like-new finish and fixed percentages of improvement are not promised. We pause if further treatment could harm a surface and discuss the limits with you.

We confirm the work and price before service. A request is not a signed agreement, and included work is not charged twice.

Prepare the Home for Exceptional Results

A Few Thoughtful Steps Help Us Care for More of Your Home.

Diamond Shine works within an approved timeframe and service scope. Prepared surfaces allow our Home Preservation Specialists™ to spend more time cleaning, detailing, and restoring rather than relocating personal belongings.

    • Clear bathroom and kitchen countertops of personal items whenever possible.
    • Place toiletries, cosmetics, medications, grooming products, and small décor safely in boxes, drawers, or designated areas.
    • Remove fragile, valuable, sentimental, or irreplaceable items from approved service zones.
    • Secure pets or communicate pet-access instructions before arrival.
    • Confirm working water, electricity, and appropriate indoor temperature.
    • Provide access instructions, gate codes, parking information, and alarm details in advance.
    • Identify priority areas, delicate materials, known damage, stains, odors, or surfaces requiring special attention.
    • Washing, drying, folding and ironing are not offered. Bed making or fresh-linen changes follow your written service or membership scope; please provide ready-to-use clean linens when included.

Safety & privacy note. For safety and privacy, team members may leave heavily cluttered, unsafe, inaccessible, or personal-item-covered areas untouched unless item handling was specifically approved in writing.

What to Expect When We Arrive

Professional Communication From Arrival Through Completion.

    1. 01

      Arrival & Walkthrough

You receive a confirmed arrival window, and our team confirms access, approved areas, and your priorities before work begins.

    2. 02

      White Glove Service

The approved cleaning, restoration, or presentation work is completed, with updates if anything needs your attention.

    3. 03

      Review & Close-Out

Completed areas are reviewed with you, aftercare guidance is shared, and any remaining approved balance is handled through your established payment method.

Scope statement. Before work begins, a signed agreement confirms the service areas, scope, price, payment terms and responsibilities. Additional work requires your written approval of the revised scope and price, along with confirmed time and team availability. A request alone does not confirm an appointment.

    Protect the Results After Extraction

Proper Drying Is Part of the Restoration Process.

    Drying Guidance
    • Keep the AC running continuously when weather and property conditions allow.
    • Maintain comfortable airflow throughout the serviced areas.
    • Use ceiling fans and portable fans where practical, especially in closets, enclosed rooms, and low-airflow spaces.
    • Avoid placing heavy furniture, rugs, boxes, or belongings on damp carpet.
    • Minimize foot traffic until the carpet is dry.
    • Use clean indoor footwear only when walking is necessary.
    • Keep pets away from damp carpet when possible.
    • Do not close damp carpet inside unventilated rooms or closets.
    • Drying time varies based on carpet density, humidity, ventilation, temperature, treatment level, and room conditions.

If carpet remains damp too long, trapped moisture may contribute to returning odors or an unpleasant indoor smell. Airflow, temperature, and uninterrupted drying are essential parts of protecting the completed service.

    Honest Limitations

Diamond Shine cannot guarantee removal of every permanent stain, dye change, discoloration, pre-existing damage, subfloor odor source, contamination, adhesive issue, or odor condition below the carpet surface.

    Maintain Restored Hard Surfaces

Porous Grout Benefits From Consistent, Gentle Care.

    Care Guidance
    • Allow restored areas to dry fully before heavy use.
    • Maintain ventilation in bathrooms and other humid spaces.
    • Wipe standing water from shower walls, floors, and grout lines when practical.
    • Avoid harsh or unapproved chemicals that may discolor grout or damage finishes.
    • Use appropriate pH-conscious products based on the material.
    • Address leaks, failed caulking, persistent moisture, or damaged grout through qualified repair professionals.
    • Schedule recurring maintenance before heavy buildup returns.
    Honest Limitations

Cleaning and restoration may improve appearance but cannot repair cracked tile, missing grout, failed caulking, loose materials, permanent mineral damage, etched surfaces, structural movement, or hidden moisture issues.

Preparing the Home to Be Seen

    Presentation Readiness Extends Beyond Cleaning.

    Personal Items

Reduce visible toiletries, countertop items, paperwork, cords, cleaning supplies, and everyday clutter before photography or showings.

    Indoor Temperature

When possible, keep the home at a comfortable temperature during showings, taking property conditions and energy considerations into account.

    HVAC Filters & Airflow

Replace visibly loaded filters when appropriate and maintain airflow to support freshness.

    Bathroom Presentation

Keep counters clear, towels arranged, toilet lids closed, and personal-care items stored before photography or showings.

    Kitchen Presentation

Minimize countertop items, remove dish clutter, and preserve clean visual lines.

    Carpet & Flooring

Allow sufficient drying time after restoration before photography, furniture placement, or heavy traffic.

    Final Walkthrough

Review lighting, personal belongings, odors, visible trash, access, temperature, and high-impact rooms before the property is presented.

    Care That Continues

Help Your Recurring Visit Deliver More Value.

    • Keep approved service areas reasonably accessible.
    • Communicate changing priorities before the visit.
    • Identify new stains, buildup, pet concerns, damage, or maintenance needs early.
    • Confirm special-event, guest, or hosting priorities in advance.
    • Separate routine maintenance requests from specialty restoration needs.
    • Review recommended service frequency as the home, household, pets, or lifestyle changes.
    • Use the same preparation standards for counters, bathrooms, and personal items.

Home Preservation visits are designed to maintain an already improved home. Heavy buildup, neglected areas, post-construction conditions, extensive pet contamination, or restorative needs may require a separate approved service.

    Honest Expectations Protect Trust

What Professional Cleaning and Restoration Can — and Cannot — Do.

Diamond Shine provides professional cleaning, restoration, preservation, and presentation services within the approved scope. We communicate visible concerns honestly and may recommend an appropriate licensed specialist when an issue falls outside our service category.

    Boundary

    Wear, Damage & Failed Finishes

Mold, hazardous materials, biohazards, pest contamination, or unidentified substances fall outside our approved service categories.

    Boundary

Plumbing, electrical work, construction, caulking, sealing, remediation, and licensed inspection work are handled by qualified specialists.

    Boundary

    Prior Products & Treatments

Client-supplied products, DIY treatments, or previous chemical applications can influence outcomes in ways we cannot always reverse.
